Please share your tips in this thread. I'll go first. A virtual group of EA members has found the website xoyondo.com/ easy to use to set up a private chat room where people can share with others who have the same link. Xoyondo is not searchable by google, and comments can be made completely anonymously without any login or email required. We have found that it is easy and fun to use. If you want to try out creating a chat room, click on the link above and then at the bottom you will see "Message Board". Then click on that. Then click on "create message board" and follow the minimal instructions. It helps to keep track of things if the person who sets up the chat room creates an account and logs in, but this is not necessary. Just be sure to keep track of the randomized link that is created. In xoyondo there is no way for any member to get the IP address or email, and it is not necessary to provide any email address at all. It is fully private and preserves anonymity. Each user can post with a handle, where it says "Your name" when they are posting or setting up the board. The answer box to type a message expands as you type into it. It works well on a phone or a pc. If you want an intelligible, unscrambled link to give out to people then it is easy to create an account and then have a 'personal page' with all the chat rooms you create. That personal page is also not searchable by google.

Out of interest,
1) Is xoyondo entirely separate from ProBoards, Inc., having no links of any form either via techical or other human means?
2) Quote from the post above (Apr 13, 2019 at 4:21pm): Sounda good for privacy, but does the word "google" imply secrecy against all internet search engines and all other means of collecting data?

Those are interesting questions. 1. There is no relationship between xoyondo and proboards. There is also no relationship between this forum and either company except we use their standard services. I will check on the proboards support forum to be 100% sure of the answer. 2. You get a randomly generated long string as the link to the thread and xoyondo doesn't allow bots on it. You can try to find anything doing a site specific search on xoyondo and you will not be able to search it. I only tried google. I can't verify beyond what I have written, but I consider it personally very safe. 3. I am not entirely sure what your concerns would be in any case if xoyondo did miraculously have some links with Proboards? Edited to add: I heard back from the Manager of the support team at Proboards who wrote that he had never heard of Xoyondo before. He also added "Since this seems to be a question about privacy? Here is a link to the Privacy Policy: www.proboards.com/privacy".
